Summer Enrichment Courses
This year, PCA is excited to offer a variety of summer enrichment classes for students of all ages! These courses are designed to engage students, dive into topics that may not be part of our regular curriculum, and/or help bridge the summer months in preparation for the upcoming school year. Here are the details:

Length of class: 4 weeks

Days per Week: Monday-Thursday

Hours: 3 hours/day (times may vary depending on class)

Cost: $300/student (checks payable to PCA)

Sign-up and payment deadline: Friday, May 31
Additional Info:
• Each class must have a minimum of 5 students registered and paid by May 31 for the class to be offered. • Students must be registered for the upcoming year to be eligible

2019 Elementary Summer Enrichment Courses
Elementary Fundamentals in Reading, Writing, and Math
This course will provide skill development and reinforcement for students preparing to transition to the next grade level.

Students will learn the basics of computers and computer applications (Microsoft Office, Google Drive, basic coding).

2019 Middle School/High School Summer Enrichment Courses
Bridge to Algebra
This course is designed for students who want to sharpen their math skills in preparation for Algebra 1 (or a refresher for those going into Algebra 2).

Bridge to Middle School Math
For students transitioning from elementary to middle school, this course will review basic skills and introduce new topics in preparation for 6th grade math. Topics will include fractions, decimals, integers, basic algebra, graphing, and more.

Mrs. Moore’s Most Excellent Adventures in Art & Research
Students will research various local destinations (Japanese-American Museum, horse farm, theater, courthouse, beach), then take a field trip to see the site in person, and respond to their visit with creative writing and/or art.
