Expected School- Wide Learning Results (ESLRs)

These are the priorities that we have committed to as a school, and are held accountable for with the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC):

 

Packinghouse Christian Academy students are:

  1. Committed Christians who:

    1. Have been given the opportunity to establish a relationship with Jesus Christ as their personal savior.

    2. Demonstrate a foundation of Biblical knowledge.

    3. Express and defend the Christian faith through evangelism and personal behavior.

  2. Complex thinkers who:

    1. Utilize their biblical worldview to analyze, synthesize, and evaluate the information in each area of instruction.

    2. Create images to represent significant concepts.

    3. Demonstrate problem solving skills using prior knowledge and innovative thinking.

  3. Effective communicators who:

    1. Resolve conflicts using the Biblical model found in Matthew 18:15-20.

    2. Relay thoughts and ideas in a clear and concise manner using appropriate media.

    3. Respectfully receive the thoughts and ideas of others.

  4. Students who:

    1. Develop an awareness that the body is the temple of God.

    2. Demonstrate competency in each subject at appropriate grade levels.

    3. Positively affect the community through their interactions.

  5. 21st Century Learners who:

    1. Develop adequate life and career skills.

    2. Uphold Biblical views of environmental social issues.

    3. Set attainable short and long term goals.

    4. Effectively use technology to access credible information using Biblical ethics.
