Marie Escobar
3rd Grade
Hi. I am Marie Escobar. I teach because I love the Lord Jesus Christ and I love working with children. I grew up on a farm in Iowa. I gave my life to serve the Lord when I was 18 years old. I attended the University of Northern Iowa, then transferred to Faith Baptist Bible College in Ankeny, Iowa and graduated with a BA degree. I then taught five years on a mission station in New Mexico. After going on a missionary apprenticeship program to the Caribbean and South America, I became a missionary under Baptist Mid-Missions to Lima, Peru. There I taught missionary children for five years at Fetzer Memorial Academy.
I received my Master Degree in Elementary Education in 1990 from Pensacola Christian College. I have my Lifetime Professional Certificate from the Association of Christian Schools International. I taught at Del Rosa Christian School for twenty years! I am currently teaching third grade at Packinghouse Christian Academy.
I met my husband, Cesar, in Peru. Together we serve the Lord in a Hispanic ministry in San Bernardino.
